Hey Guys!
Well if you've noticed I didn't post anything last week, partly because summer school started up, and another reason being that I just don't have many ideas. If you just so happened to stumble across my blog, and you like what I post please give me some ideas to blog about, I started this blog because it seemed like fun, but now that I don't have many topics to write about I'm feeling kinda bummed out. so please write in the comments and give me some ideas!
Thanks in advance,
Kelsey

Getting Healthy!
Hey Guys!
This summer I've started a goal of trying to get in shape. The most in shape I've ever been was my freshman year of high school when I was on the softball team. I only played for a year, but by the end of the season I could at least run a mile. I'm now a sophomore in college and all I can run is probably a quarter of a mile without stopping, I wish I was joking.
This summer I plan to do something about it, I've already been eating healthy, which is the most important part but I also wanted to help speed up the process. So I joined a gym! I had my first workout last week and it was pretty horrible at the time but I felt better afterwards. I'm not trying to get skinny, I think that if thats anyone's goal then they should probably rethink things. The main reason why I want to start working out is to get healthy. There has been so much sickness around me and I feel most of it is from people not taking good care of themselves. In college, its easy to just go pick up some fast food on the way to and from school, and study and sleep. The freshman 15 is real! Believe me. i'm still dealing with it. But overall I just want to feel good. So here are some tips i've heard from others that I want to share with you

But overall I just want to feel good. So here are some tips i've heard from others that I want to share with you
- Drink lots of water
- water is the most important thing the body needs, about 70% of an adult body is made up of water. You lose water when you breathe, sneeze, sleep, etc. So it's super important to rehydrate yourself. You should drink at least 8 cups of water each day.
- Get enough sleep!
- try to get at least eight hours of sleep every night. Your metabolism won't work properly if you don't get the recommended amount of sleep. and who doesn't like sleeping?
- Do not eat late at night
- I suffer from acid reflux so I can't eat late anyways, but even if you don't suffer from that, it is advised that you not eat late at night. Eating late does lead to weight gain, so try to stop eating after 7!
- Try to cut out fast food
- this is going to be the hardest thing for me, its so convient for me. firstly, I dont like to cook and secondly getting fast food is so convenient, but hopefully i'll be able to do this. Fast food is definitely not healthy for you, one of the major things that is bad about fast food is the salt intake, all that salt will bloat you up! So try to stay away from it. There are other negatives by eating fast food, I suggest you watch the documentary Super Size Me by Morgan Spurlock.
These are some of the tips that i've heard from people, hopefully some of you guys will take heed to some of these tips. Put some of the tips you've heard in the comments below!

Review: The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask
Hey Guys!
It's a rainy day today, the perfect weather to do a review for you! Today I'm gonna review a product that I haven't heard much about, but apparently its one of the most popular items you can get from The Body Shop. I purchased the Tea Tree Face Mask about a month ago and it's already become a staple in my face routine.
One of the things I love most about the mask is how lightweight it is. You can put on a lot of the product but it wont feel too heavy on your face, I dont suggest using a lot of product though. The next thing I love about it, is the fact that its easy to take off. Now I haven't tried a lot of masks but with the few that I have tried it was a pain in the butt to take off. This mask is different, all you do is rinse it off like you're washing off a face wash.
The Body Shop claims that the mask removes impurities, absorbs excess oil, and soothes skin, and I believe it lives up to what
it claims. When you first put the mask on, there is a burning sensation that can be intense, but its worth it! Your skin feels so refreshed and clean once you take the mask off. The smell can also be a turn off, it was for me at first, but I can't say it enough, THE MASK IS WORTH IT!!
Overall, so far this is the best mask I've ever tried. If you have problematic skin I would HIGHLY suggest that you give this mask a try. The mask is $15.50 on The Body Shop Website, but is currently 25% off when this blog goes live! so hurry up and grab it while its on discount!
